Buchanan Arts delivers after-school visual arts programs to schools in the 37208 + 37209 area codes. We also offer a free arts after-school program from our studio at 1409 Buchanan St. Our instructors are practicing professional artists and hold advanced degrees in the arts.
With an average student to instructor ratio of 4/1 our educational philosophy is rooted in creative freedom, exploration, and meeting the needs of each individual student. We believe that young people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities deserve access to top-notch instruction and the opportunity to learn to express themselves through the visual arts.

When: 3:30-5:30pm Tuesdays + Thursdays during the school year
Where: 1409 Buchanan Street in North Nashville, 37208
Who: Kids ages 5-14, priority registration will be given to individuals living in the 37208 area code.
